Media? I’d guess the video was obtained by someone at the scene, like cell video. Otherwise the media would likely be showing the mean people crowding, threatening or attacking Mr. Baby killer in his vehicle. No?

They need to take it to the local press. Mike Broomhead at A.M. 550 KFYI has 3 hours in the morning. He has a great sense of integrity and is normally pro cop.......until they screw up. Television channel 3 also local has a ‘3 on your side’ feature that might give it attention. Pound the PPD phones too.

“Regardless of the cause, anybody approaching a person and appearing to be a potential threat needs to consider this. I don’t think a crime was committed in this video”

You think merely approaching a vehicle justifies making a lethal threat?

How about if you are passing a person in their car in a parking lot while walking to your car? You ok if they draw and point a gun at you for that?

Pointing a gun at someone is a lethal threat which could have reasonably been met with the use of lethal force. The driver looks like someone preparing to do a drive-by shooting.

Unless the person approaching his moving vehicle was also brandishing a gun or making some other overtly threatening action, what happened here was a criminal threat.

The officer looked at the video and claimed he couldn’t tell for sure if it was a gun. That’s ludicrous.

Further, the doctor lied to the cop and said he did not pull a gun and does not bring a gun to work.

Obviously, even the doctor knows what he did was criminal because he would not have lied about it if he had a valid reason to pull his gun.

Those who recognize the scientific fact that unborn babies are unique living human beings have been far too polite and tolerant by allowing the spread of this type of mass murder.

This criminal doctor was not arrested for the exact same reason that Hillary and other Deep State actors have not been arrested—those whose sworn duty is to uphold the law and the Constitution do not want to do their job because it would be hard. They know that if they mistreat innocent, defenseless people, no one will speak out or make things difficult. They can get away with it. But to even think of attempting to enforce the law on the rich and powerful causes law enforcement cowards like this man to wet his pants.

Or, he’s in on it... on the payroll of the abortion mafia.

A reminder that leftust are arming themselves to the teeth. Historically, we know how this ends.

In Arizona, like a number of states, it doesn’t need to be a deadly threat for him to be justified in displaying his firearm. He only needs to reasonably believe physical force is necessary to prevent the unlawful use of physical force. A.R.S. s. 13-421. I think whether his display of his firearm was justified under Arizona law depends on a number of things we can’t see in the video.

“He only needs to reasonably believe physical force is necessary to prevent the unlawful use of physical force. A.R.S. s. 13-421. I think whether his display of his firearm was justified under Arizona law depends on a number of things we can’t see in the video.”

Did you bother to read the law you cited?

How about this section where “defensive display” is defined:

D. For the purposes of this section, “defensive display of a firearm” includes:

1. Verbally informing another person that the person possesses or has available a firearm.

2. Exposing or displaying a firearm in a manner that a reasonable person would understand was meant to protect the person against another’s use or attempted use of unlawful physical force or deadly physical force.

3. Placing the person’s hand on a firearm while the firearm is contained in a pocket, purse or other means of containment or transport.

Pointing a gun at someone is a lethal threat. It requires the same legal justification as actually shooting someone.

I drew a gun about a year ago because a person was jumping a fence onto my property late at night during a time when many people were evacuating the area for flooding. Turns out he was retrieving his child’s toy (unless it was intentionally put there as a pretext). What he did was foolish. I’m very glad I did not shoot him.

If I had shot him, would it have been a clean shooting? Probably, but you never know how cops and the DA might interpret things. And I would not want to live with killing an innocent man just because he made a foolish choice. And I did not point my gun at him because I would only do that if I expecting to actually shoot.

In this case, you are defending an abortionist who did not merely brandish his gun. He pointed it at a protestor. Could the abortionist have used the defense that he thought he was in imminent danger?

Perhaps, but there are a lot of questions the cops should be asking.

If he thought he was in danger, why did he not fire his gun?

Why did he not call the police immediately after the incident?

Why did he lie to the police, claiming he not only did not do this but never brings a gun to work?

Lying to a police officer who is investigating a complaint is illegal.

But these cops did not want to pursue this for whatever reason. One cop even claimed he could not positively identify that what the abortionist had in his hand was a gun. That’s pathetic.

We can tell that he was pointing his gun at a sign-holder AND also endangering anyone behind him, such as the person videoing the incident and possibly other sidewalk protestors. If you are safely inside your car, to justify pointing a gun at someone who is several feet away, that person had better be displaying a gun or similar weapon capable of becoming a lethal threat to the person in the car.

Beyond the issue of lawfulness, this is a matter of gun safety. If you are under the impression that it is reasonable to draw and point a gun at someone because you are startled or some similar reason, you may need to avail yourself of some gun training so as to avoid hurting someone or getting yourself in legal trouble.

You have no idea what the person(s) approaching the car were doing.

“You have no idea what the person(s) approaching the car were doing.”

I know they were protesting, carrying signs, and calling the abortionist a “coward.” None of those things are a lethal threat.

I also know that the abortionist denied doing what we clearly see he did. He must have not felt very threatened because he went merrily on his way without bothering to drive a safe distance, stop, and call 911 to report the lethal threat he supposedly encountered according to you.

Use some common sense. Get some gun safety training. Get some education on the law.

If you act in the manner you are defending on this forum, you are going to find yourself in grave danger because what that abortionist did is a lethal threat that warrants the use of lethal force.

If a cop witnessed a driver point a gun at an unarmed protestor, that cop might very reasonably shoot the driver.

No one on this forum will argue against the right to bear arms.

No one will argue against the right to let others know you are prepared to defend yourself.

But when you point your gun at someone, in the manner this man did, you are committing a serious crime. And it is an action that can get you killed and not merely charged with a crime.

The man in question here committed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct. He also lied to a police officer. False reporting in this case is probably just a misdemeanor, but it is still illegal. Whether he will be convicted of these I do not know.
