Potatoes ... my favorite food. Better than donuts.

AM doing Weight Watchers for 6.5 mos - have lost 62 pounds.
More to go.
Slow but sure.
WW works too.

How to you cook the potatoes?
Congratulations on your weight loss.
I do think that (for me, at least) a “boring” diet can help with weight loss. (I should try it more often.)
Almost every work day, my lunch is one hard-boiled egg, 3.5 ounces raw baby carrots, a snack-baggie full of grapes, and about 1/3 cup of lowfat cottage cheese. This seems to be generally enough to eat, and I can make up what’s needed for 5 days on Sundays, so packing my lunch each day takes about 10 seconds. Plus, it is very economical.

I guess that’s what they call a “hair-shirt”.

The Irish often survived on little more. Potatoes, skim milk, and most crucially, beer!

Interesting. I chatted with a guy at the local Smith’s who lost 50 lbs on Ozempic.

Do women like hairy men? Speaking for men, we do not like hairy women...although Deborah Harry is an exception.

The Martian diet. He looks as bad as Matt Damon did in that movie as well. He also looks paler, kind of like Morgan Spurlock’s veggie girlfriend in that anti-McDonalds movie. Looks like he could use a rare steak with his potatoes.
To: Red Badger
If he shaved his body, he’d lose another 30lbs! :/
To: Eska
Ozempic did help me to lose some weight, but it also kept me feeling nauseous most of the time. I took myself off of it.
I didn’t even wait for the doctor’s recommendation.
For now, I’m just going with smaller portions.
Like any medication, it works for some, not for others.
Good for you, though that you found a plan that you like.
If I did a Potato Diet, I’m thinking the moment I stopped the routine, and resumed regular eating, I would pile the pounds right back on, and then some. For me, it may not be sustainable.
To: Red Badger
he could shave and lose another ten pounds.
