Oblomov rejects the abstraction of pronouns, and demands to be referred to as oblomov! Pronouns are an essentialist conspiracy to strip words of concrete meaning detach them from sensory experience!

Why is it assumed to be a punchline? Why should “she” apologize? Maybe the SJW’s need to apologize to Chrissie. Maybe those are Chrissie’s pronouns today? Fredo may be Frederica today. I thought one could be whatever they feel?
I have no idea what this issue is about? Guess I’m too old. Oh well.

I think it’s crazy too, but you may find out about this issue in a rather unpleasant way in the future (especially if you live in a Blue State). Hopefully you won’t be sitting around the nursing-home someday, accidentally “misgender” someone, and get carted off to a jail-cell.

We are not supposed to understand.
That will make it easier when offending the alphabet people is punishable by jail or worse. We will have no idea what we did but they can get rid of us.
I don’t understand why it would be a joke and I don’t understand why it would be a gaff.
I sometimes accuse my wife of speaking in code. She’ll tell me something. Then a few minutes later she’ll get mad at me for not figuring out what she really meant to say.
For example she might tell me it’s raining and then get mad at me for not figuring out that I should get her an umbrella.
I think liberals and conservatives have that problem some times.
