Trump says he’s weary of greeting coffins from senseless wars

And visiting the wounded at Walter Reed , from wars no one can explain why were there

Other heights from his press conference this morning:

1. He said Lindsey needs to start doing something with his judiciary committee instead of focusing on overseas endless military

2. ABC is fake news again, running a phony “Syria bombing” video

3. IS shouldnt be fighting a war 7k miles away to safeguard Syria’s border, on behalf of Syria and their ally Russia

He was so strong, so confident. I’ve never seen anothe GOPer take apart a media propagandist the way Trump decapitated that ABC fake “newsman”

"You are obviously juiced and projecting.

How about you get your “children” out of our military and if they no other option for employment, since they freely joined the military but not fight, then you can at least get them on welfare instead of turning our military into do-nothing welfare cases.

I am helping you cope."

By the way, WHERE is this infamous photo you two are talking about?
You can crazily search it, like your chuckles friend Jon did to post about it in this thread, about our Military.

No I don’t but you sure do...

Demented is quoting someone and responding with “Hmmm.”

Then faulting them for not figuring out what you meant.

Like you did to me.

You might want to change your FR handle to: a little needless stupidity

It’s tough to look at, but just think of any flaming a$$hole riding in traffic with a kiddy helmet, complete with a mounted camera. I wonder how many of these Pee-Wee-types get nudged by drivers :)

Waiting on your photo, Jon.
Don’t blame you for not riding a bicycle in the Bronx.
You would be pulled off at the first street corner.

Funny you are still seething mad. LoL!

Syria has been going on for a long time and we have mostly special forces there.

To be sure, there may be Americans who are thrilled to be there; medals are won on the battlefield, and there are certainly those who may be indifferent to where the battlefield is or whose sovereignty they are violating by being there.

But the President still bears the moral weight of how those in his charge are used and the series of conflicts the US opened up in the ME over the last 15-20 years bears little or no resemblance to the Just War teachings that have guided the West for millennia.

Simply put, this isn’t our fight.

I’d say our military who were there, were proud to be helping keep the peace for an ally that fought very hard for us against ISIS.
It’s one thing to claim job done and leave proudly on our own terms instead of running away.

It’s a different thing to talk about “senseless war” and retreat from a battlefield ally who is directly in the lurch.

But hey, don’t just take my word for it, 129 Republicans voted in The House condemning the retreat.

Every time you post a PeeWee (Your repressed homosexual fixation?) picture...
You are telling everyone on FR you are too much of an ugly ridiculous Joke, to post a picture of yourself.

Get your fat ugly a$$ to a local gym Jon and on a stationary bike.
One not near the drive bys window range.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about; we had no business being there; we invited ourselves (in that “Ugly American” kind of way) into a foreign country. We’re simply leaving a place we never should have been in. (If America’s sovereignty is worth respecting, then so is Syria’s.)

But hey, don’t just take my word for it, 129 Republicans voted in The House condemning the retreat.

215 Republicans in the House voted in favor of allowing the use of military force in Iraq in October of 2002, an approval of a use of force that turned out to be a catastrophically stupid thing to do; you may recall that it was Trump who had said back then that the invasion would be a mistake.

Experts on the use of military force the Republicans are not, and referring to their numbers in a vote hardly makes a case for keeping troops in Syria.

I don't get how you can post about US being in Syria without even mentioning ISIS.
ISIS was a big reason for a coalition that the US built.
Along with supporting the opposition in the Syria civil war.
So yes because of the civil war the US had a right to operate there.
I can't take your comments seriously when you fail to mention ISIS and the civil war.
But are only interested in the typical blame America first garbage.

Add to that your quick harping about Iraq.
Iraq was a success.
One dead Saddam shows that.
Catastrophically stupid would have been to leave Saddam in power while he made a sham of UN Resolutions that he agreed to but then reneged on.
Just your wording "catastrophically stupid" shows you are one of those liberaltarian types that no argument other than blame America first last and always will please.

129 Republicans voted against retreating in the way that we did.
That is a serious rebuke of the President.
Republicans don't necessarily say we should have stayed but the way Trump suddenly cut and run was wrong.

Btw, how is the weather in London?

Excuse me but I have done enough babysitting in this thread.
And the points you make leave much to be desired (only blaming America first).

“Nice way to crap on the ultimate sacrifices our fallen military members have made and make their families feel like shit.”

So those who sacrificed their lives would choose for more soldiers to be sacrificed?

Families of the dead want more families to lose loved ones?

Exactly how does perpetual war with no recognizable goal that can be called “victory” in the middle east honor our dead and their families?

Your points are childish and devoid of reality...
So those who sacrificed their lives would choose for more soldiers to be sacrificed?
Those who sacrificed their lives in WW1 would chose for more soldiers to be sacrificed?
Hitler would have been really happy having you opposite him.
When did our military become sacrificial?
I missed that TV ad campaign.
Families of the dead want more families to lose loved ones?
Do families who lost loved ones in a house fire want the rest of us to live in caves?
The people signing up for the Military know the risks.
Exactly how does perpetual war with no recognizable goal that can be called “victory” in the middle east honor our dead and their families?
There was no fighting in NE Syria, until Erdogan played Trump on the phone, who then cut and ran without consulting anyone.

After spending enough of my time babysitting here I made an exception for you.
Because it was too easy.

But you have a nice time adding your own opinion to the thread instead of failing badly at trying to take on mine.

“Your points are childish and devoid of reality...”

Are they? You could answer the questions posed instead of pretending to have some more cerebral and compassionate awareness, couldn’t you?

That would be adult of you.

ISIS was there because the United States completely destabilized the ME when it removed Saddam Hussein from power and left nobody of similar heft in his place.

I can't take your comments seriously when you fail to mention ISIS and the civil war.

But Russia could address that; moreover, Russia was actually invited into Syria.

Iraq was a success.

If there was something beneficial that came out of that war that I may have missed (an increase in autism awareness, perhaps, or a lower pollen count), please enlighten me as to what that may be. But the price of removing a Very Bad Man has been far too high to the innocent Iraqis and also to the American military members who trusted in their leaders and who paid the ultimate price.

Just your wording "catastrophically stupid" shows you are one of those liberaltarian types that no argument other than blame America first last and always will please.

I’m a veteran who served in the ME; I suspect you’ve lived a more sheltered life and are in no position to point a finger at anyone who served in uniform.
