3 reasons to investigate the US Navy UFO incidents
The Hill ^ | 10/13/2019 | 3 reasons to investigate the US Navy UFO incidents

First, the national security implications of getting to the bottom of these incidents are beyond obvious. In addition to posing a serious collision risk, determining the nature of the objects – whether benign, easily-explainable phenomena or potentially threatening – is of critical importance. Indeed, by some accounts, such incidents are occurring with increased frequency.

Moreover, advanced, physics-challenging technology would be the Holy Grail for any nation. Given the anti-democratic and authoritarian inclinations of some major world powers, it is imperative that such capabilities fall into the “right” (i.e., democratic) hands.

Among other possibilities, a civilian-led quick reaction force could be established to rapidly assess such incidents, some of which occurred over several days. Second, without venturing into the “debate” about the causes of global warming, there can be no doubt that earth’s climate is undergoing tremendous change. The Midwest witnessed multiple “500-year” floods in the span of a few years; powerful hurricanes fueled by warmer waters have battered the eastern seaboard; unprecedented wildfires have devastated the West Coast. Businesses expect to lose $1 trillion due to climate change in coming years, of which the last five were the hottest ever recorded.

With researchers examining how clouds can be manipulated to combat climate change, the remote possibility of acquiring technology that allows for indefinite flight time at extreme speeds deserves particularly close scrutiny.

Third, CDR Fravor argues that if he and the Navy’s sophisticated sensors observed the same phenomenon, there is a good chance that the technology he witnessed could move effortlessly through water, air and space at extraordinary speeds. In the event that such capability exists, mere knowledge thereof should prompt a fundamental shift away from humanity’s baser priorities in favor of loftier, nobler objectives.

He sounds like a good ol’ boy genius........

!~~~

It’s mildly entertaining but he sounds like a good old narcistic story teller. His story telling isn’t bad except a lot of his story is ripped right from science fiction movies. I’d have to go back through to enumerate them all but the hit one right after the other. From the reticulating (photo shutter) door to the downloading of thoughts/images (matrix/battlefield earth). The semi truck having Piggly Wiggly on the side is straight from Close Encounters of the third kind. The coal minder son from WV launcing rockets is ripped from Homer Hickam and October Sky. There’s a ton of them.

Either demons or fallen angels or some combination thereof.

A lot of what I have read refers to demons as the spirits of dead Nephilim (i.e. halfbreeds) whereas fallen angels are, well, just that...spirit beings from another dimension who are anti-God.

As physical chemist, I caught so many physical and scientific impossibilities that it didn't take me long to spot the fraud -- but, what a "Shaggy Dog Tale"!!! ("Los AlamosES" -- LOL!!!)

The "Woo Woo" video intro might give you a clue as to where (UFO territory) I was surfin' around when I ran across his video.

I sent the URL to my daughter so that she and her family could watch it together -- and gain some appreciation of how my uncle used to spin these long, rambling, drawn-out funny yarns -- with nothing but a stupid, anticlimactic punch line (like "So, that's how I spent... ...my Junior year in High school...") at the end...

Gotta admit that he kept you going -- and chuckling -- though -- didn't he? '-)

Nephilim's spirits had not occurred to me as being part of the greater demon population, but you may be right. Sort of like fallen angels once-removed. However, Jude 6 [see also Luke 8:31] suggests they are no longer at liberty to be cavorting about masquerading as UFOs:

"And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness [zoφon], bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day."

It’s the obvious and perhaps only authoritative, informed and rational resource for explaining RUFOs,

I don't think all the fallen angels are "bound." Some, including Satan, are free to move and have authority over Earthly kingdoms.

For example, consider Daniel 10:12-13 wherein the angel speaking to Daniel had to fight with an evil angelic being called the Prince of Persia and needed the Archangel Michael to help him.

Sorry that I was unclear. Jude 6’s reference is usually thought to be to the fallen angels who left their boundaries and impregnated humans. As interim punishment God has kept them bound in the dark abyss, which the demons of Luke 8:31 greatly fear. All other demons roam freely.

I am doing a re-read (3rd or 4th time) of Michael Heiser's Unseen Realms and would have to say that I don't know if there is an identifying Biblical difference between demons, fallen angels (in general, other than those in Gen 6), evil angelic beings, "other" or "foreign" gods, etc.

There's a lot to the subject particularly when one includes what is in the Mesopotamian, Akkadian, Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, etc. literature in such an analysis.

There's a whole lot more to the story than is presented in Church and most pastors won't touch this stuff with a ten foot pole.;-)

BTW, I highly recommend "Unseen Realms" if you haven't read it...though I don't necessarily agree with everything he posits. Check out the reviews at source above if you are unfamiliar with it. Very good for in context Old Testament study.

I’m sure you guys have seen the old Phil Schneider video. It’s a classic. Like many of these guys who like to tell wild stories, he seems to be concealing how full of himself he is, but it slips out often, and in his case quite defensively. He borrows from a number of old UFO myths (like Dulce underground bases and what happens at area 51) but he doesn’t get nearly as sloppy and loose with his fantasticism like this Adair guy gets (I have to admit I’ve never seen him before.

I suspect that's because it drifts rather far afield of the unadorned gospel on which they should focus. Anyway, I'll look into Heiser's offering--thanks for the referral.

Not really.

Humanity and the world (perhaps the universe) is embroiled in a war between Good and evil. The first rule in war is "know thine enemy."

The Bible not only tells us about God and our Salvation, it also teaches us about the enemy of God, the enemy of our Salvation, and the enemy of ourselves.

The preachers I know don't seem to want to deal with the truth about the war we are in. I think they are afraid of the truth...and, frankly, I can't blame them (it is scary stuff).

Thanks for the clarification. I certainly agree about the reprehensible queasiness of many pulpit-clingers to engage in the biggest battle, using all the weapons God has put at their disposal. Not only do they fear telling the truth, but also they cringe at the prospect of losing butts in the pews, were they really to strap it on--rather than truly trusting the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I thank Him constantly that He has led me to a real gospel warrior and unvarnished truth-teller.

By the way, Heiser's book certainly impresses the reviewers at Amazon: 4.8 / 5.0 !

Read some of those reviews. They tell you a lot about the book and the subject matter.

I think it is right up your alley.
