I guess that will knock out a lot of period dramas unless you cast a gay black actress to play Jane Eyre.

I only use my tv for playing a racing video game. I’m not going to notice this.

Killing viewership good business plan!

But a program like “Till Death Do Us Part” would not be able to be made due to too many sensitive ears today, lol. I remember being told that when I suggested in a discussion elsewhere about our local PBS outlet bringing back a classic series like that to replace boring Lawrence Welk episodes.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Well, we can always order the DVDs of I Claudius, Poldark (original 1976 series), Onedin Line, The Duchess of Duke Street, and other BBC made classics.

“Diversity” can also mean having the option to view programming from diverse sources that aren’t subject to these stupid rules.
Of course, the next step would be to deny access to any material that isn’t approved by the diversity review board, and arrest anyone who attempts to bypass the controls.
Hitler did that.

Can’t imagine it’s a problem outside of historical dramas; Doctor Who alone fills up the UK’s quota of black lesbians.

"I guess that will knock out a lot of period dramas unless you cast a gay black actress to play Jane Eyre." Nope, not good enough. It would have to be a man pretending to be a woman. Trans gender baby! After all those TERFS are just no damned good anymore. They're just not insane enough.

It just came to me, when you spoke of the BBC... I just remembered the first time I heard the “F” word on TV.. It was on PBS.. Government TV.! A stage play called “The Gin Game”.. And the first time I heard it on the big screen it was Barbara Streisand saying it...

I wish them luck in their virtue signaling. I have given up on almost all of entertainment these days. I’ve had my fill for more than a lifetime. Time to focus on other pursuits.
