Arizona was screwed in the water agreement on the Colorado. It gets much of its water from the Salt River Project and the northern areas. Western edge relies on it heavily however. Perhaps our local expert can enlighten us. Hildy, how’s your area doing?

This will support hubby’s repeated mantra....that we can’t look for a retirement or vacation home in AZ or NV, because they’re going to have water shortages (in the dessert).
Geez. I guess I’ll have to look at the mountains of NM :(

That's also coming from the insane initiative that was passed that 50% of the electricity has to come from 'renewable' energy sources by 2030.
Nevada will have California electricity rates and it will make the cost of living in the southern region of the state un-affordable. The summer electric bill will be higher than most people's house payments.
