Yes, I disagree strongly with his stance on encouraging the lawless invaders on our southwest border. You can be wrong about some things --- often things you really haven't thought all the way through --- and still be an exemplary man and a good Christian.
Fending off possible misunderstanding, I repeat that I would argue strongly against the enabling of illegal invasion, which is really nothing short of massive human trafficking. However, I think Mr. Buchanan's involvement was a misguided humanitarianism, not political sedition.
He deserves respect for his strong personal commitments, inasmuch as he spoke up clearly, and paid up personally --- in contrast to those who score cheap virtue-signaling and PC points, while having no skin in the game.
I think you can honor this, even if the honor is tempered by our rejection of lawbreakers who game the system.
May Sean Buchanan rest in peace and receive from the Lord God that which only our merciful Lord can provide.
OK, fire away.
Funny, I thought only innocent Americans were supposed to be the victims of leftist policies, not the leftists themselves
I guess they are okay with this, then.
Live by the sword, die by the illegal invading grass crawling third world cesspool reject
Agreed. I stayed away from criticizing him directly.
There is a price for supporting lawlessness, in this case the price was paid by a guilty party as opposed to the many innocents that pay for the defiance of law.
I understand your sentiment, but have come to believe that "Misguided Humanitarianism" is just another way of saying "Unwitting, dangerous, and corrosive tool of the Political Left".
I take no joy in this man's death. As for being guided by humanitarian instincts, there are a lot of people who fit that description who should never be allowed anywhere near levers of power or even influence those who have their hands on the levers of power.
Or, in this case, doing the bidding (witting or unwitting) of those who are pushing destructive and unconstitutional policy in this country, particularly on the Left.
He died doing what he believed in and as a direct result of what he believed in, so I would leave it at that. I assume his death was worth it to him and the circle of people who supported him.
He just was a man who loved and accepted everyone. -— That is a lie. He hated Trump, and probably hated Americans who voted for Trump.
Obviously, his mistake was driving a motorcycle. There wasn’t enough space to put the “Coexist” bumper sticker so the illegal would know not to run him over.
It is unfortunately. And all that we hear from the media and Democrats is “shut up you racist and pay your taxes!”
Karma is a female dog.
Firing away.
See tagline...
...Okay, so it’s a pretty mild shot.
Own goal?
>Seems the media left out the word supports ILLEGAL immigrants
The bastards are relentless in telling that “lie by omission”.
Reminds me of the stupid Tibbets family in Iowa which defended illegal aliens even after the daughter was raped and murdered by one
Looks like this guy adopted two African kids.
Maybe he was for legal immigration.
Collateral damage is the term.
Sorry, but I shed no tears. In fact, I’m gonna have a cigar right now to celebrate the creation of 5 or 6 potential new anti-illegal immigration activists.
A fitting metaphorical end.
