Staying abreast of the warnings and alarms on FR can be so exhausting! /s
That’s the problem I’ve had with any version of windows. Fast when new but install a few programs and use the PC for a year and it’s molasses. Disk defrag helps a little once or twice but then it doesn’t anymore.
Then they started with the constant updates and having to restart all the time. That can take several minutes. pita
Lovin linux.
All software safe and free and all in one place. No restarts after an install.
Never tried Zorin though I probably would have if I had heard of it early on. Tried pretty much every other Ubuntu based distro. I think I made it to Vista before making the switch, though I do run win7pro for the flip side of dual boot. I have a couple of programs with no equivalent. Auto repair software and a PC based scantool.
I was running Vista when win8 came out. When I saw 8, I said screw that. That desktop looked like something for a child. I don’t care of it was designed for touch screens. I still don’t need 2 inch square icons. Looks like a cash register at a burger joint. “Mash” the french fries button for french fries.
Google Chrome was BORN as spyware. Has been since Day One.
WAKE UP and smell the coffee.

Ditto. I've used Brave for years. Best browser I've ever used.
