Sales of LaCroix sparkling water are suddenly tanking
Business Insider / MSN ^ | May 30, 2019

LaCroix is "effectively in a free fall" amid declining sales and rising competition, according to a new research note from Guggenheim Securities.

"The LaCroix brand has gone from bad, to worse, to disastrous in a relatively short period of time following negative media attention regarding the 'natural' claim of the brand's flavoring ingredients that surfaced in October of last year," analyst Laurent Grandet wrote.

A lawsuit last year alleged that LaCroix contains artificial ingredients, which is contrary to the company's "all-natural" marketing claims. LaCroix has denied the claims in the suit.

It is artificially flavored water in a can.

Past few years I had seen it in Big Lots .

I have had some. Hardly worth the bother even if the flavoring is “natural.”

Oh NO!!!!

:)

I have switched from WAY too much diet soda to gatorade zero and vitamin water zero.

YES, I am sure they are full of garbage, just not as much garbage as diet cokes :)

Anyway my doctor is thrilled at this first step :)

I could never understand people paying for water. Now if I was in Mexico etc. yes I would buy bottled water.

I grew up just outside DeFuniak Springs, FL. I still think the tap water there is the best anywhere.

Consider Lipton’s Diet Green Tea. The anti-oxidants in the tea are beneficial. I replaced drinking water with the tea years ago and never looked back.

They just need to merge with Poland Springs and their stock will rise high. Oh, and maybe have George add another addition to the Guggenheim.

It’s carbonated with co2 and contributes to man-made global warming.

There’s really no need for flavored water.

I like my Poland Springs.

I LIKE Lipton.

What makes it diet?

Is it one of the really bad substances or not so bad ones?

That’s the rub with all these drinks :(

But doc said diet soda is just the worst of the heap.

Thanks ahead of time.

Kirkland store brand bottled water is like $4 for a 40 pack at Costco. You buy it for the convenience, and it’s a fraction of the price of Dasani.

My wife drinks their LaCroix Cúrate Sparkling Water which is a fruit blend drink in four or five different flavor combinations.

I go for the Arnold Palmer lite half&half - Iced T & Lemonade.
Black Coffee
O’Douls..

Remember the French ‘started’ with EVIAN...

Did you ever bother to hold it up to a mirror or just look at it backwards from here?

After my hospital stay, I switched to water, cold turkey. Much cheaper, and I no longer miss sodas.

Lots of clones on the market now that are cheaper and/or have better taste.

I’m surprised it took the other soda manufacturers this long to figure it out.

That and more than 50 cents a can for fizzy non-sugar water is highway robbery when I can get the sugar version for 35 cents.
