I was up before dawn this morning, preparing for our first service of Easter. This meant that, around the same time as bombs were going off in churches in Sri Lanka, I was reading a passage to my congregation taken from the book of Ezekiel. The passage tells of dead bones coming back together, of bodies being re-clothed in flesh and of life being breathed back into them. Over in Sri Lanka, bones were being blown apart, and flesh stripped from skin. These people woke up this morning full of hope, excited in anticipation of the story of Jesuss resurrection. They put on their best clothes and polished their shoes. Now their blood is being mopped from the sanctuary floor.
I was talking the other day to the classicist Mary Beard about Christian persecution in Roman times all that stuff about lions and the Coliseum. She was of the opinion that it might not have been quite as big a deal as later Christians made it out to be. And no doubt there is nothing quite like a few overegged stories of gory martyrdom to deepen a sense of group solidarity among a struggling religious community. Well, I bow to Marys greater knowledge of classical Rome. But while it may have been true that too much was made of Roman persecution, the very opposite is true now. We are living though one of the most serious phases of Christian persecution in history, and most people refuse to acknowledge it.

War with Islam.
Not if, but when.
Islamists? Quell suprise.
This has been going on for 2,000 years.
History is replete with examples of it.
The Inquisition comes to mind, as an example.
We’ve just been spoiled in the last couple hundred years and tend to think that’s the norm for Christians. It’s not.
Arm up, boys and girls.
You’ve got a WAR weather or not you want one.
This bunch NEEDS killing—badly
The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I’m praying for everyone affected by today’s horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

New vocabulary
Easter worshipper = Christian
Migrant = illegal alien
Militant = Muslim terrorist
Well, not to be blunt but the handwriting is on the wall. Engage or be exterminated.
What do you do about the millions already in the west and breeding like rabbits?
Refer to Rule Number 1.
In the US we have definitely been spoiled...but I foresee that changing.

Its unavoidable, imo, unless POTUS can get serious (meaning lethal) border control and mass deportation going very soon.
Not saying immigration isn't important.
Christianity though, is being legislated into a minority group that is considered racist, homophobic, Islamaphobic, etc.
Christianity is what is keeping the Left from its goals.
Understood. The demise of Christianity has been a cultural Marxist goal for many decades.
My post was more about actual violence from the large numbers of muzzies here for education, here on expired visas and coming in through our southern border. A great many enemies within.
This is just one more proof that Islam has declared war on the world. Time for the world to unite and eliminate this warring culture.
