So from what I gather, the vermin showing up at ports of entry seeking ahem “asylum” have to wait in Mehico. Those sneaking in illegally and claim to be seeking ahem “asylum” not at ports of entry, have to see a judge and if deemed they have some validity, they are held in detention until court date. And, I read, that something like 87% or more of all asylum claims are denied when they have their final court hearing.

Im all for ending asylum of all kinds and sorts except for those issued directly by a POTUS for political international relations reasons.
Their problems are not our problem.
They got gangs? So do we. Deal with them. We gotta deal with our own.
They poor? We have our own. We gotta deal with that.
Someone being mean to them? Not our problem. We’ve got people being mean to people right here in our own country.
The asylum/refugee system is impossible to set up in a manner that does not invite rampant abuse and misuse. It’s a system made to be gamed.
There’s an actual industry existing now of coaches and lawyers that teach how to game the asylum/refugee system. What to say, what not to say, what to claim, what not to claim, etc.
