Not that I don’t like black dudes - but I seen that movie too!
Peele just proved the axiom - if the tables were turned, black privilege and black institutional racism would be no different. F ‘him.
I think they - Peele, and Spike Lee for two examples - see it as justified payback for sins of the past. Never mind that they never had to deal with Jim Crow or segregation or even much more remotely slavery, and that they have reaped wonderful benefits from being citizens of those country. But I can certainly live without Jordan Peele movies, and Spike Lee's too.
I enjoy the NCAA commercials with Charles Barkley; too bad they had to put Lee in them too.
I’m sure Jordan will understand when white directors decide not to cast any “brothers” in leading roles.
Had it remained faithful to the home invasion genre, Us would have stuck the landing a tad better. Instead, it has scope and mythology. Writer-director-producer Jordan Peele is a storyteller with ambitions, ideas, something to say, and for that reason the last 20 or so minutes lose their intensity in all the explaining.Over-explaining, actually, isnt altogether a bad thing for those of us eager to see a mainstream film that is not only unreservedly pro-American, but fiercely anti-socialist.
You won’t find any white dudes cast as the lead actor in that Juicy Smellit series called Empire either.
If one were to say the same thing only as a white man saying they wouldn’t cast any blacks as the lead actor, there would be outrage and calls for it being a “hate crime”
Can you imagine what would happen to a white director who said he couldn’t imagine casting a black dude as lead in one of his movies?
That character persona was perfect in all his rolls.
Firefly / Serenity, Castle, etc.

Jordan Peele: An Monkeypaw Production
Well, Peele, I don’t see me hiring any black dudes for new and upcoming thriving business. It’s not that I don’t like black dudes, but I’ve seen it already. /S
He’s awesome.
Last time I saw a good movie in the theater was probably 2005. Before that? 2000 maybe?
Hollywood is apparently hell bent on losing money hand over fist with their sick philosophy.
And if you call them Black dude or Black boy - watch out...
The hypocrisy is pretty telling.
Thats something I wont be able to say about any of Peeles movies.
I enjoy their work in “White and Nerdy.”
That’s great, Jordie.
Us White Dudes don’t see ourselves spending money to see your crappy films, either.
What a piece of liberal crap...
And with Ann Coulter and Katherine Timpf in the lead roles!
Now THAT I would love to see!
Racism is not entertaining.
