Indeed is a strange development.
Police Superintendent takes orders from Rahm, so I doubt he would he have gone out and been so vocal on this case, if Rahm didn’t approve or edit his comments advance. Does Rahm need to be seen as being on the same page as police chief?
Is this Rahm doing one more favor for the Obamas or somebody - but doesn’t want the fall-out hung on his reputation??
