MAYday = Teresa May? Why three times?

Though it probably has another meaning it is protocol to repeat the nautical distress calls three times, Pan Pan, Pan Pan, Pan Pan (urgent but lives not in immediate danger) Securite', Securite', Securite' (important information, listen up) or the most urgent, when lives are in danger, Mayday, Mayday, Mayday.

I thought protestors in London were FOR Brexit and wanted a new vote without May kowtowing to the EU. Right before I went to bed I heard someone on Fox News say the protestors were AGAINST Brexit. May have been on Watters World. Can’t remember. Seems like it was a woman. What is truth here?

Also worth noting perhaps, that those nautical distress calls are French, so ‘mayday’ should strictly be spelled “m’aidez”, meaning ‘help me’.
