I have begun posting the ANTARCTICA DIG REPORT on a retired thread. Some of you FReeQs, (from whom nothing can be hidden!) have twigged onto that.

My plan is to post the articles on the retired thread so as to not put inordinate walls of text on the current thread. I am doing this at the suggestion of our Mother of Dragons, ransomnote.

The plan is to try to fulfill the expressed desire of FReeQs for my content in two different modes by posting them to the retired thread, pick up the links, and post the links to the current thread - in this case probably the NEXT thread, because we are now (I suspect) in FESTIVAL for this thread.

It is my request, and also (likely) of ransomnote too, to:

PLEASE DO NOT POST RESPONSES TO THE RETIRED THREAD!

I know this is awkward, but we are trying, as I said before, to take care of two kinds of FReeQy needs! Some want the full leaded Great Walls of Text, and others have expressed a desire for the shorter versions. I have sought to achieve that AWAY from the current thread.

Please note that I am unable to link to the posts without actually posting them! ransomnote suggested the retired thread option....but we DO NOT WANT TO RESURRECT THE RETIRED THREAD FOR DISCUSSION!!!

Unless the New Thread Beginner People create a new thread, I will shortly be posting links to the first three of the twelve part series, despite this being FESTIVAL, since the interest seems to be high to see the Antarctica report.
