The Unfortunate Death of Dr. Thomas Burchard
PART ONE

HarleyLady27 posted the following on the previous thread:

Just thought while we were talking about children, you might like to ponder over this article, this guy being a child psychiatrist and all, and at the end of this article, another body found near the same spot earlier????

Texokie’s response:

That is a VERY interesting find, IMHO, HarleyLady27!

A few choice paragraphs caught my eye, which no doubt are ones you saw as well:

“...Police in Las Vegas want the public’s help in the homicide death of a beloved CHILD PSYCHIATRIST who was found dead in the trunk of an abandoned car in a remote desert area earlier this month.

The body of Dr. Thomas Burchard, 71, of Salinas, California, was found on March 7 in an abandoned vehicle on State Route 157, east of the Las Vegas Valley. A motorist driving through the area with his children noticed the car had a rock thrown through one of its windows...”

[What can we learn about him?]

https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-thomas-burchard-yqtx8

He had no malpractice, board actions, nor disciplinary claims against him. He practiced for 42 years in Monterey, CA. His specialties were the treatment of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, of those with ADHD/ADD, Major Depressive Disorder, and Psychiatric Diseases.
This web site had 3 reviews, with 2 giving him 5 Stars, and one giving him 1 Star.

[From what we have seen, he does seem to have been well respected and loved.]

[Back to the article about his death:]

“... Judy Earp, Burchard’s longtime girlfriend, said the couple visited Las Vegas for a PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY CONFERENCE IN FEBRUARY...”

[This is an interview of Judy Earp stating how devoted he was for his patients:

https://www.ksbw.com/article/longtime-girlfriend-of-murdered-child-psychiatrist-speaks-out/26849903

[This is probably the conference they attended, which was held February13-16, 2019]

https://10times.com/conference-psychopharmacology-update

“The Annual Psychopharmacology Update Conference provides information on the psychopharmacological treatment of psychiatric disorders most commonly encountered in clinical practice. It is designed for all clinicians who prescribe psychotropic medications and will address indications, contraindications, management of adverse events and liability issues.”

Among the exhibitors named include:
US Psychiatric and Mental Health Congress
Astra Zeneca
Neuroscience Education Institue
Electromedical Products International Inc
Alcoholics Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous
Menninger Clinic
Progenity

The Menninger Clinic clanged a bell for me. I have a sense that we have seen it mentioned before in some of our previous digs. Perhaps those with better memories or files than I do can help us recall those details.

First off, when I entered “Menninger Clinic” what pops up first is “Menninger FOUNDATION” which was started in Topeka KS in 1919.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menninger_Foundation

“…The school fostered treatment programs for children and adolescents that were recognized worldwide. In the 1930s the Menningers expanded training programs for psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals….”

Their school of psychiatry was formed in 1946 for the purpose of treating our veterans.

“…The Menninger School of Psychiatry and the local Veterans Administration Hospital represented the center of a psychiatric education revolution. The Clinic and the School became the hub for training professionals in the bio-psycho-social approach….”

[Is it possible that this description is DERP-SPEAK for some of the areas of experimentation in mind control/psyops, etc. which we have been reading about since October 2017?]

Dr.Will Menninger, was quite prominent with hands-on psychiatry:

“…Dr. Will Menninger served as Chief of the Army Medical Corps’ Psychiatric Division during World War II. Under his leadership, the Army reduced losses in personnel due to psychological impairment. In 1945, the Army promoted Dr. Menninger to brigadier general. After the war, Dr. Menninger lead a national revolution to reform state sanitariums….”

[So far the Conference Dr. Burchard attended has some in attendance as Vendors, who have pristine public images, but which perhaps bear further scrutiny, such as Menninger, for example. Menninger rates about a hot pink flag, IMHO.

In Part Two, we will continue to examine a few brief paragraphs from HarleyLady’s find.

I used to provide A/V services for the annual Psychopharm Update when it was being conducted in Houston, by the Baylor College of Medicine, Menninger Department of Psychiatry. Fascinating stuff, even for a layman.
