Pretty sure to overturn a veto requires 2/3 vote in the Senate and the House

What’s 2/3rds of 535?

353 so I think like 100 house members would have to join the Dems so I would guess it is highly unlikely..

Jeez.

Two thirds of 435 House members is 290.

Two thirds of 100 Senators is 67.

You need both Houses to override.

depends on how many are voting. It’s been awhile since the Senate made a 100 votes. - 59-41
I believe it’s 2/3rds of those present for the vote.

President probably would have better luck trying to sustain the veto than trying to stop the override.
Concentrate on 34 in the Senate and 146 in the House.
