I did that last night, from the first disruptor and on the ones that followed. We got zero help, and it wasn't until they persisted that people began responding. Every post that was being made between our people was being aggressively targeted with repetitive nonsense. It wasn't receding. Counterattacks have been effective in getting prior persistent trolls to stay away, or perhaps they are now using another alias. It has been quiet here for a while. We don't want to have it go back to how it was. The admins needed to stop it, and they didn't. I usually leave it to Bagster to deal with them and move on. But these were worse, and I wanted to add a few of my own comments. It seems to have continued through the night. That's not on those who engaged, it's on the admins. They were pinged. It should have ended when it began.
That new Oswalt tweet is even grosser than the last one.

It’s one way enforcement. We get punished if we cross over onto the rest of the forum but they are free to come in here and troll and of course lots of people engage, which just makes things worse.
If people don’t stop engaging them I’m just going to go into lurk mode and stop posting.

It also seems that his wife was writing a book on a serial rapist:
“[Michelle] McNamara, who was writing a book about a serial rapist and killer at the time, was working long days and nights and was unable to sleep due to anxiety and nightmares that kept her up at night.”
He had suggested she take something to help her sleep:
“So worried about her health, Oswalt suggested she take a night to “sleep until you wake up.” On April 21, McNamara took some Xanax and went to sleep, but never woke up.
The next morning, Oswalt remembered waking up early to get their 7-year-old daughter Alice dressed, packed and off to school. On the way home, he picked up an Americano coffee and left it on McNamara’s bedside table — around 9:40 a.m., he recalled….”
