That is a very good speech. It sure is hard to imagine a dark-hearted deep stater wrote those words. Thanks for posting. We will see what RR is soon enough, I guess. A lot of bad things were done under his auspices, I believe. Dark of night FBI raids for intimidation only, stealing the attorney client protected documents from the President’s private lawyer, prosecuting a hero for lying when your own people said he wasn’t lying and threatening his son with prosecution if he didn’t plea out, hiring a conflicted flack as SC who then hired other conflicted, corrupt hacks. He sure made it hard to believe in his commitment to the rule of law, unless there is more to the story that we will find out later.

Trump says he’ll veto attempt to stop wall

President Trump said Friday he will veto any attempt to block his wall-building border emergency declaration, and said he can’t see any way Congress musters the votes to override him.

His comments came hours after Democrats announced legislation to try to block the emergency declaration. A vote in the House will happen Tuesday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

“Will I veto it? One-hundred percent,” the president said.

He said he doubts Congress would be able to overturn his veto, which would mean his plans would stick — barring any legal setbacks.

Congress last week approved just $1.375 billion for border wall construction this year, which is far less than the president had sought.
