If the defense in a court hearing is guaranteed a hung jury, it would certainly alter the way and amount of evidence is presented. Some evidence can be held in reserve for the next trail. My thought is that the defense (the United States of America in this case, Attorney General Barr is lead counsel) would have standing to know if the court will be fully jurored during arguments.
A 4-4 tie on the SCOTUS is the equivalent of a hung jury.

No, you didn't, but someone else was pointing out that the time in China shown on the clocks in the pictures matched with the 6 a.m. EST posts of the pictures, so it seemed to posit that they may have been taken today.
I’ve been getting it all day up until this line in 2715:

As far as all the photos posted the other day, when they do that I’ve always figured it was to let the target know they knew.
