Or they did it because they wanted to direct attention away from the reality that she was off with 6 others plotting a coup. If they float the “drunken rage” story, many conservatives will believe it, but since it wasn’t true and could never be proven, those reports would not only protect against her coup meeting being discovered, it would make the right look foolish. Double win for the derps.
