We are awash these days in faux scandals, but this is a real one: Nancy Pelosi has appointed Ilhan Omar to the House Foreign Relations Committee. Omar is viciously anti-Israel and, I think, pretty clearly an anti-Semite.

I disbelieve it either. Seems to me that the Venezuelan people have been struggling to break free ever since Hugo was still alive but a smothering mockingbird style media and brutal suppression and election cheating have made it impossible for them to shrug them off. Kiwi, the Wonder Dog, is a slight music aficionado, but he has sensitive ears. I don't know if he howls with the wind instruments because they hurt his ears or he really does think he's good enough to sing back-up for the Eagles and Dixie Chicks.
