I’m recently retired & just recently found out I am paying cash for a new home (long underwriters story as I retired early), so this hurts. Still have enough left to pay for it all, but this really cuts into what’s left.
That really does suck. So I hope you have already cashed out enough for the purchase, and have some stash of cash somewhere for emergencies too.
