In Tuesday’s episode of “social justice gone awry,” Harvard Business Review complained about the lack of diversity in the firefighting business.
“U.S. firefighters are overwhelmingly white and male. Here’s why that needs to change,” the publication said in a Tweet linking a to story.
Harvard Business Review is complaining that only white men are interested in risking life and limb in service to their community. Of course, they did not frame their story that way because, as we know, white men are the devil in this culture war.
“Many fire departments recognize that their lack of diversity as a problem and say they’re committed to increasing racial and gender diversity,” the article said. “But what’s the actual path for departments achieving more diversity? And if they do so, will their members embrace how it improves their organization?”

It’s a feature, not a problem.
This battle was fought from trench to trench back in the 1980s and 1990s. Physical performance and upper-body strength standards were changed in fire departments all over the country, including FDNY, in order to enable more women to pass the entrance physical.
It’s all good. Non white male people groups are good at making fires.
Do we know how many people croaked in fires due to womyn in the ranks?
The only reason I would be for it changing would be for females and mimorities having to risk tbeir lives for everyone else istead of overwhelmingly white males doing it and everyone irrationally hating them.
So yeah, lets let all the women and mimorities step up and put their lives on the line for everyone insgead of hating the white guys who are and hsve historically done so.

Those acting most surprised are the same ones demanding Safe Spaces separating them from other races. When you influence a majority of minorities to not give a damn about anybody but their own race, this is what happens. Most of them have been trained not to care, or at least not to show evidence of any compassion for certain races and certain sexes.
Easy fix. Hire some white men who identify as black females.

When is the last time a socialist idiot like this was this upset at any job that had an overwhelming representation of women there and expressed outrage on how it was negatively impacting men?

There was some great diversity in an Academy Sports commercial (plus another one, forget who) that I saw today.
Everything but a white male. Nope, none of those. If there were, they were well-hidden or waaaaay in the back.
Which is O.K. I can NOT go where they don’t think I exist. Then their commercials can be oh-so-true.
