His heart couldn't stand that, probably working quadruple overtime as it is. I try not to wish ill will on anyone. IMO overeating is a mental illness, stealing it was just a way to get what he wanted. Getting caught might just have saved his life....maybe.

Actually, he was probably right about 7-Eleven having moldy jerky.
Sentence him to jail and have him work in the kitchen so he’ll know what it takes to prepare food for jerks.
