Republican lawmakers weren't the only ones who were frustrated by former FBI Director James Comey's repeated refusals to answer questions or provide further details - or his assertions that he simply couldn't recall - during his closed-door testimony before members of the House on Friday.
Following the release of the full transcript from Comey's testimony last night, President Trump lashed out against the former FBI director whom Trump summarily fired a few months in to his administration, accusing Comey of lying when he said he couldn't remember certain details or otherwise refused to answer questions (something Comey did, on the advice of a DOJ attorney, 245 times during the course of his marathon testimony). Furthermore, Trump said Comey lied when he said he didn't know Christopher Steele (the former UK intelligence agent who assembled the infamous Steele dossier) and that he didn't know who had signed off on investigations into four unnamed Trump campaign officials.
Comey was "so untruthful", Trump said, that he might have "set a record" for the number of times a witness lied to Congress during official testimony. Hist testimony is the latest sign that the Russia probe is a "rigged fraud" launched by "dishonest people" who would "do anything so that I would not become president."
"They are now exposed!," Trump said.

You know, I’m visiting with an old friend this weekend. Haven’t seen this cat in 8 years, but is one of my very best friends.
We were both working in downtown Boston on 9/11. We saw the initial news reports... We watched the 2nd plane hit the tower... We were together to gather his Wife from her office and make our way and hour north, towards home.
We talked about how much disbelief we experienced (Normalcy bias) as we watched what happened - live!
I’m not certain you can go from 0-to-60 on some of this stuff. It will need to filter out slowly.

In addition to what you have said - “that difficult info should be metered”- people have the need and the RIGHT for different sized filter mesh. Each should be allowed and supported to go at their own pace of assimilation.
A few months ago, a proven Q Patriot on our threads was being harried for not immediately going along with the thread consensus that certain Q targeted people under discussion were evil.
This Q Patriot was treated as a troll. Hurtful things were said to the hold-out being dumb - or even somewhat evil him/herself for still desiring to hold the vision of that Q targeted person as being one of worth, as though by holding a positive view of that individual’s character, our thread member was somehow throwing in with the Q targeted person. Why do we think it is our job to judge what a person decides to hold as an opinion? Why do we think it makes us look smarter to be the one to puncture someone’s opinion with harsh words without reason? Do we really think that is a persuasive technique? It is unfair to do that to someone.
I think so many people have a habit of exercising extreme criticism. They have such a momentum on it, that it is my opinion that they do not even realize how they come across. Unjust criticism is highly toxic, and all of us, I think, should try to exercise care in the words we say - especially when all we have here on the forum to communicate with are ONLY the words, with no facial expression or tone of voice to indicate if what is being said is as stark as the words alone seem.
All of that is to say, the Patriot in question who refused to buy the idea that the “bad” person being discussed in the Q drops was evil, actually HAD A RIGHT TO TAKE HIS/HER TIME to come around - if ever - to the prevailing consensus. NONE of us likes being pushed or nagged. It took me many years to understand that certain things reported about events which are related to 9/11 were not as I had understood them to be. I’m glad I had that time to make that adjustment.
I offer this only as food for thought, and believe me, I chew this particular cud for myself as well. If I ever transgress in that way, and express hypercriticism or dismissal of someone’s opinion, I do hope that you will PM me so that I may apologize.
