As I was reading that post of yours, I had a mental image of POTUS at Mar a Largo etc. And the thought ran through that maybe Friday or some such, he might be transacting some business that he felt safer doing there than he would even at the White House. Somewhat of an odd thought to go through.
And that I should pray for him in such planning and such actions as he'd be undertaking as it would likely have significant results for the Nation. Curious.
The intent of this (Dem announced) investigation of Ivanka Trump is an IN YOUR FACE attack on fair and decent citizens: We demand the right for Hildy to grossly violate multiple laws - commit multiple felonies - with no consequence!
AND we demand the right to harass and criminalize Ivanka Trump for doing a fraction of what Hildy did; and make no mistake, if possible we will make sure Ivanka Trump goes to prison. WE HAVE THE POWER!

Every day! ...thrice if possible; we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places. The Dems have sold their souls to Mephistopheles. (You know all this, of course; it just needs to be said repeatedly for those who have eyes but do not see, have ears but do not hear... pray for them also.)
A decade or 3 ago, I read in such a manual that affect was mainly used as a psychological term regarding someone's emotional affect--their mood, variability of their emotions etc.
And that effect had to do with effecting an outcome--e.g. The boss sought to put the agreement into effect.
I've tried to get a specific handle on it every so many years and have found the definition moves. I hate that kind of moving target. LOL.
And usage is worse than the language manuals because most folks have no clue which to use when. And usage is what foundationally defines a language. Manuals are always playing catch-up to usage.
I think the most common current use of affect is INFLUENCE. To influence an action or decision or outcome.

The classic Religion Mod instituted that ages ago to keep the RC's from being attacked by evangelicals and vice versa. The rules were simple and clear. Finally caught up, and everyone has gone to bed. Anyway, just wanted to say, I would take your shiny nickel bet on RR an RM being black hats. I have always felt they were doing what President Trump wanted. So far nothing has happened to change my mind.

Thankful for all military here and around the world. Got to say that military training is *way* special. Gave me the best sons-in-law I could have ever hoped for. Their presence in my family reminds me daily to pray for all their brothers and sisters in arms. That includes all you FreeQy veterans too.
