Do these people realize that most often if they give aiui vital organ it means that they die, or are they so naive they think that their good intentions will keep them alive?
You are correct that except for a few public safety professions, there is no forced age-related forced retirement in government. I was mistakenly extrapolating from what is happening around me in the private sector. For whatever combination of peer pressure and financial incentive reasons, most don’t work past traditional retirement age.
