One week will become "too close to an election to hold a vote now" and "let the people have a vote on this". That's the "get out the democrat vote" goal. Flake is giving it to them.

I just saw a video clip of Flake in the elevator with the woman yelling at him. I swear these are paid actresses. And he is stupid enough to cry croc tears for them.
I watched the hearing all day yesterday...watched and just re-read Flake’s statement yesterday. At no time did he request that an FBI Investigation be conducted. So what changed during that time, and the time he spent with the Democrats? He came back red in the face. What power does the Democrats have over Flake that would make him willing to do their dirty work for them, and request this delay for an FBI investigation...because surely they have to have something on him. First he, Collins, and Murkowski said that Dr. Ford needed to be heard before any vote should take place. They got their wish. Now, the goal post has been moved...again. So even if an FBI investigation is conducted, what guarantee is there that they won’t ask next for the testimony from the individuals who signed statements under threat of penalty? We all know it will happen.
I called Flake’s office and left a message as to why he didn’t ask for a delay and FBI investigation like all the Democrats did yesterday? What did the Democrats threaten him with when he met with them this morning that would cause him to do their dirty work for them.
Called, left message. Also wrote a lengthy letter to Senator McConnell pointing out that at no time during Flake’s statement at yesterday’s hearing did he even bring up a request for an FBI investigation, like all the Democrats did. Now today, after being cornered by the Democrats, he’s turned tail and running with the Democrats mantra. Told McConnell it looks like the Democrats took Flake to the wood shed, when it should have been the Republicans who did it. Said a lot of other things, but I won’t bore you with it.
Probably promised a job with some liberal think tank or law firm.
Or less, unless it's reviewing Hillary's Weiner laptop emails.
He was very red in the face. Somebody from the Dems threatened him clearly. You don't come back with the look on your face that you just bawled your eyes out, and then whimper a request to delay the floor vote so that the Democrat's mantra that an FBI investigation should take place. He looked very guilty.
I think conservative leaders need to hear more support so that they don’t cave to liberal bullies.
Then he should have asked for it yesterday when he had the chance during his statement. He didn't. He got what he, Collins and Murkowski wanted...Dr. Ford was allowed to testify before any vote was taken. Now he wants more...for his friends on the other side of the aisle, who are holding a gun to his head.
Why is she in a meeting with Judiciary Committee members. She's not on the Committee, and shouldn't be in any negotiations between Dem and Republican committee members.
