NEWS: Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) tells me in an intv he that doesn’t think the Judiciary Cmte should move ahead with its Thursday vote on Kavanaugh until they hear more from Christine Blasey Ford. “For me, we can’t vote until we hear more.”
I believe Senators are assigned to these committees by party votes, so Flake can probably be removed from the committee if he makes a pain the ass of himself.
You’re being a drama queen. They delayed for Anita Hill and let her testify and all that, and Thomas was confirmed. Him saying “wait” is monumentally from him saying “no.”
Seems like the longer Trump holds off, the more damage the RAT people are doing.

However, the Judiciary Committee has to send this out of committee to get the vote. The Judiciary Committee is 10 Dems, 11 Repubs. With Flake switching sides (or actually, returning to his roots) we lose the discharge to the vote.

You are correct, but he won’t be replaced. Were he replaced, he would vote against it on the floor. This will give all red-state dems the cover they need to also vote against it.
The Ford woman needs to be investigated. Is she being paid? Is her family being paid?
Why didn’t she report the incident 30 years ago? Who brought her to the party? Was she drinking? What was her reputation in high school?
Why is her story so scetchy? Two guys or 4 guys?
Our system has been corrupted. Time to root out all the bad actors and, well, I really can’t say on a public forum what I think SHOULD happen to them.
