I hear you. I’m trying to find which college teams stand for the anthem instead of hiding in the locker room and I’ll root for them, but I’m not having much luck. If anyone knows of one, let me know. I assume the service academies do.

It’s as simple as this. The NFL is there for entertainment. They are discovering like many entertainers before that when you piss off half your audience, you risk losing half your audience. At the end of the day it really doesn’t matter what your cause is. People just get turned off by the manipulation.

The NFL shot its own self, those Trump Haters Corporate Elites.
The NFL that many of us used to love is gone and it will not come back. There is no way to get a handle on the SJW protests now. However, I don’t think the NFL will succumb to a fatal wound. Going forward, they will simply regard the 10% or so drop-off in viewers/fans as the new normal.
When watching football is no longer so much about the game and more about hating America viewers will find other sports.
The NFL is another lefty victim cult which thinks itself superior to white men in of course a passive sometimes aggressive manner, see that Beckham clown for confirmation of my hypothesis.

As an interesting tidbit, I was reading a review of a book written by Eagles coach Doug Pederson and he reveals that he forbade his players from kneeling during the anthem. A couple raised a fist, but nobody knelt.
And now Kaepernik is suing for collusion. And all of his supporters who mostly don’t buy tickets anyway are threatening to boycott. Imagine the reaction from sane people if the NFL is forced to give him a job! And the NFL caved on their new policy. Has the NFL now passed the tipping point?
Just sayin’.... watch on antenna TV or on a TV in a public place and you don’t add to the official viewership. Also, don’t buy tickets or gear. Only problem is there won’t be football if the NFL doesn’t smarten up and keep paying fans supporting the NFL.
NASCAR will be next, it's already creeping in there.
