Is using magnets and copper wiring to power light bulbs a money saver?

Aside that it is neat, is it actually worth the expense over time?

Need a picture of Uncle Fester powering a lightbulb in his mouth.

Probably a scam powered by inductive fields and a high voltage transformer.

There has to be a battery or electrical device under the table. Conservation of energy is violated thus this device is not possible.

I don’t think it’s a scam, but I know there isn’t a free lunch either. It may just be a neat gimmick because the cost of the magnets themselves might not be worth the cost of the set up.

There are quite a few videos out there and there doesn’t seem to be any scam to them. So. I’m just wondering if it would save you money over the long run or whether the magnets would become demagnetized before you saved enough money to pay for the set up.

I think most light bulbs are powered by magnets and copper wire.

They are called generators, and work in everything from hydroelectric plants to windmills...

If this was working then the magnets must be giving energy and therefore mass to the light bulb. Also an electromagnet must be power by a battery or be spinning to generate an electric field. This device is impossible.

One of my long passed uncle's ran the lights in his Minnesota barn using a very large flat coil of copper wire attached to the underside of the barn roof. The local utility condemned his land and put a very big high tension power line practically over the top of his barn. The lights were not 100% bright but they worked fine for what they were. Oh and the wire was “free”, liberated from the utility.

Fluorescent tubes will glow nicely near an RF source.

I’ve been working on this very idea for 35 years now out in my garage. I knew those bastards were spying on me!

Are you serious?

Did you ever learn the MOST BASIC physics?

Good Lord. This is why science education should take precedence over social crap in schools today.

No energy is 100% free. “light bulbs magnets” is meaningless.
A CHANGING magnetic field can induce a current in a wire or a coil. You have to KEEP MOVING the magnets! That involves energy.
These magnets are not moving. I have no explanation.

Electric fields alter the appearance and shape of energy/mass, and are not energy itself.

My high science fair , I lit up half the fluorescent bulbs in the school cafeteria when I switched on my Tesla coil. I was magic for 15 seconds.
