Most people don’t like to acknowledge changing natural trends. Thinking about such things scares them. As we see, they tend to try to distract themselves from it.
As the outer core and lower mantle move around a little more actively with the more actively moving magnetic field, it seems that there would be more seismicity and volcanism. The more liquid and solid layers moving against one another far below us are most likely not so round or smooth. The changes are not caused by activities of mankind, although that canard even makes many scientists feel a little safer than acknowledging infrequent natural changes beyond our control.

For decades you could have a tv host (or two) blowing up things on camera (and even viewers mailing the hosts the explosives) and nobody getting fired or taken off the air or arrested.
Today’s generation has no sense of humor and acts inappropriately.
