OMAHA, Neb. The Nebraska Humane Society said staff had never seen anything like this until KETV NewsWatch 7 showed them the video.
Now, theres a cat chase for updates on the feline or someone who may know what happened.
My daughter says, There's a cat on that van, and I was like, Oh no, that's a raccoon,' recalled Ronda Rankin. When my husband pulls up closer, I'm like, Oh my God, no, that's a cat.
We have a Beagle, and he ‘rode’ on the flat bed trailer (toward the front) on the highway, 70 mph for nearly an hour as Beau was driving to work. Beau got into town, stopped ta a light, the guy in the next lane flagged him down and showed him that ‘Chief’ was on the trailer!
If Chief would’ve fallen off, we’d never have known what had happened to him. Dopey Dog! He’ll STILL get on the trailer at every opportunity. I guess he likes traveling that way, LOL!
(We ALWAYS check now. ALWAYS!)

I have car seats in my back seat, for the granddaughters. Our cat sometimes goes in the garage to hang out (especially when outside weather is bad). I also roll down my front windows in the garage, so I can drop stuff into the seats easily.
A few weeks ago, I went to leave for work in the morning, and my husband said the cat was in the garage. He was sitting in one of the car seats, very comfortable. I could have driven off to work that day. Later someone told me it was “take your kids to work day” - he probably knew and wanted to go!
I used to have a 1967 Buick with no back window. I took our outdoor cat to work a few times before I knew it.
She would pop out after I got to work and I would have to take her back home.
Awww, scared kitty!! Hope kitty got home safe.
I used to live within walking distance to a grocery store. I came out of the store one time and my cat was sitting there waiting for me right outside the door. I pretended I didn’t know her and she followed me home.
any one know what happened to this kitty?
MeeeeeeeeeeeeOOOOOOOEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW
Happened to my Dad once. He was going hunting. Our Cat, Mugsy, had gotten on top of the pick up truck camper. As he drove towards the family farm, he noticed that there were many friendly people waving...more than usual for the TX Hill Country.
He finally pulled over, and there was Mugsy, claws curled around the front edge of the camper, frozen in fear. He got her down, and brought her back down. She never got on top of the camper again, but after that, he always checked before he drove it anywhere.
Poor kitty. :-(
I have to keep an eye on my cat if I go down the driveway to get the newspaper or go to the mailbox. He thinks we are hanging out together, outside. He would probably follow me to the store....

That said, I would never mistreat ones cat, and I have enjoyed many hours of entertainment with the neighbors/friends cats over the years. I carry a laser pointer just for such occasions :)
We had (still have) a VW Multivan. One day I pulled out of the garage and heard an awfully grinding sound. I stopped. The sound stopped. I started again and the sound started again. I dreaded having to call my out-of-town hubby and tell him the car was acting up. Then I checked behind me and saw our cat splayed out on the floor of the van, hanging on to the carpet for dear life. He was moaning that grinding sound as I drove back to the driveway and let him out.
