bgill, I think that most didn’t even notice what the musician was wearing or how his tie was done. We were entranced by his playing and his devotion to his expression of the music.
Got caught, to help you, I watched the TV to get the jest of the setting - after 15 minutes went back to bed to listen to the service. I guess for anyone that has to WATCH a crowd reaction to understand a sermon, probably does not have enough understanding to get it.

I was so profoundly impressed I've watched it over and over again. The choice of music equally impressive.....the guy has mastered his instrument along with pulling into the moment with him. I was fully mesmerized! Takes alot to impress me musician and voice wise...but this guys the real deal and the whole package.

Look, Harry’s mission in life is the African people, he spends most of his time working among the tribes there......she’s part black ...so of course they were going to show her and his cultural interests. It’s THEIR wedding.

I listened several times since the wedding......kids got quite the career as well for so young. I think his selection of music was interesting as well. Just a very good presentation all in one package!

You are right, he already is a star beginning to garner top accolades. I immediately was impressed with what seemed to be his personal interpretation of the songs. The way his hands held the bow so gently and precisely.
I understand he recently released an album. I’m buying it!

Ben E. King wrote it after a psalm and composed “church songs” routinely. So it’s not completely out of place in a religious ceremony.
And, even though much is made of the partly “American” ceremony with gospel being an American music genre, the Kingdom Choir is British.

He has two things available on Amazon. In the CD, he includes among the classical pieces a version of Marley’s ‘No Woman No Cry’. In the other, a version of Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. He’s only 19 years old and comes from a large family all devoted to music:
