President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani sought Friday to clean up a series of comments he had made about a settlement with an adult-film actress who had an alleged relationship with Trump, backtracking on his previous assertions about what the president knew and why the payment was made.
The cautious wording of the written statement released by Giuliani stood in sharp contrast to his previous two days of wide-ranging television and print interviews in which, according to legal experts, he exposed his client to greater legal risks and might have compromised his own attorney-client privilege with the president...

It was the media that twisted Rudy’s words and took it all out of context to derive an entirely different meaning of what he actually said on Hannity.
Media outlets, right down to blogs, fabricated the controversy to get attention and revenues. Giuliani was clear enough the first time. The President didn’t know the specifics about payments to the false accusing blackmailer, and the lawyer was taking care of such issues in general for him.

Rudy should have just stayed in New York.
We are but human, and cannot stay at the top of our game forever. I would have expected such a response from someone like Anthony Scaramucci. I would not have ever expected it from Rudy, after all his years of experience with the media.
Someone has a serious vendetta.
That's exactly what he is doing. It may be partly stumble, but there's only positives for keeping the $130k in the news. It should be in the news every single day until November.

Those of us who are not anti-Trump a-holes, understood exactly the order of events.
The only ones who need to “STFU” are the anti-Trump butt wipes twisting Giuliani’s words out of context.
True but it is benign. Nobody is going to begrudge Trump for giving $130k to a porn star. Heck he should find and pay more porn stars. The nice thing about the case is that the media jackals are obsessed about "campaign finance violations" that don't exist. It's even easier to understand than the Russian collusion that doesn't exist, and they simply prove how stupid they are.
When it comes to the left wing media I would think it best to avoid any subject that is controversial like that. They will not print the truth so don’t even try to discuss it.

I think Rudy is answering Mueller’s questions without anyone being under oath. Also everyone is seeing how far off the collusion reservation mueller is. The Stormy Story lost its wind.
Sure it’s easy to say that it’s ok to pay the porn actress but why give this slut the notoriety? Plus, it wont look good with Melania and the kid, Barron who reportedly is being beat up in school for it.
To me it’s nothing. More power to banging porn actresses (I worked “temporarily” as a production guy when i was starving in the industry here in L.A.) but the family is the one that suffers.
