I am responsible for me. If I have special needs then that’s my responsibility or my family’s responsibility. I am so tired of everyone playing lawyers bingo. My cost go up.

requested a special wheelchair
be provided. If the airline agreed
to the conditions, then they
should have provided a special
chair. Sounds to me like poor
communication. Why didn’t the
woman’s family
just bring the wheelchair she
normally uses? The airlines
have to accommodate the
disabled per the ADA.
years ago, we used to tie a blanket/sheet around a pt in a wheelchair so they wouldn't fall forward...
how a blanket, even a "dirty" blanket is that much different from the straps on the special wheelchair is beyond me...
but every body wants a buck....
