My late MIL was organist at a Baptist church though she was not a member. After worship, congregants would slip her cash to buy booze at where they did not wish to be seen.

That libtard argument makes no sense at its core.

Yes, firearm's performance has increased dramatically since 1776. And the dangers in this world have increased even more whether it be from common criminals, from potential civil unrest or from national security threats.

A semi-automatic rifle with detachable 30 rd. magazines is arguably a lesser weapon today than the musket or mountain rifle was in a relative comparison of the times.
