I had a black Maine Coon that I was very fond of. Unfortunately they don’t live forever.
About 10 years ago we took our critter to the vet for his annual checkup. Our vet makes a practice of keeping SPCA young adoptable cats in a 5 foot cage in his waiting room. I really wanted to bring that one home, but the wife said no. He was a cream color Maine Coon, 14 month old and 42 pounds, but not overweight at all, just a really big kitty.
Now we have an 18 year old 5-1/2 pound tiny orange long hair.
I really like the Maine Coons though.

Our two Maine Coons were brothers from the same litter. We brought them home in late 205. Chandie (35 lbs) passed in 2017. Wiley (25 lbs) is still with us. They are kitten pictures about 6 months old.
