They get bigger, many well over 200 lbs have been documented. Biggest one I believe is pushing 300 lbs.

There’s a little eatery/bar on the highway to Mt Rainier where they show a picture from the 1950s or 60s of one of these trophy cats.
From nose to tip of tail it’s over 12ft. And it weighed 235lbs.
And it was a female.
Arguably these male lions have grown to 300lbs in the past.
And all the big ones are in the northern rain forests.
