And he is old as heck. Is there really no skater under 35 that could have taken his place? I think he gassed out. But his previous medals and checking a box certainly gained him a spot. Then he thought he deserved even more. Ugh, tacky. No doubt he will be anointed to retire to a lucrative commentary career.
