Fart attack: Plane makes emergency landing after passenger refuses to stop breaking wind on flight

A low-cost Dutch airliner flying from Dubai to Amsterdam had to be diverted and was forced to make an emergency landing in Vienna after a fight between passengers broke out in mid-air. The reason for the altercation: one of the passengers refused to stop farting.

The pilot of the Transavia Airlines flight decided to make the unscheduled stop in Austria after things got a little out of hand during the journey. The Daily Mail, quoting Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf, reported that two Dutchmen objected when a flatulent co-passenger seated next to them kept

Correct, it depends very much on the person. Some our loud and proud and produce little or no odor, others are silent and deadly.

Years ago, I worked on an assembly line when smoking anywhere was AOK. Very smelly and my pleas for a little better smoking etiquette (step away from your work station) went unheeded. So one day, I came to work having eaten onion soup which produced the silent but deadly form of flatulence.

A truce was agreed and we went on with our work without the offensive odors.

Just the act of studying and tracking abdominal gasses, may cause enough inner tension to produce even more gas!

Bizarrely enough, this is not the first time an incident of this nature has taken place in an airplane. In July 2017, an American Airlines flight had to be evacuated at a North Carolina airport after a man reportedly broke wind so violently, it caused nausea and headaches among his fellow passengers.

That made me laugh out loud. Violently!

Back in 1977 ate an orange off a tree in Az. Caused me horrendous gas uncontrollably so. I was in a shop farting up a storm when one of the customers mentioned ‘they must be having troubles with the sewage system’. LOL olfactory fun for me at least but it was a bad bout of farting I’ll never forget.
