'The aliens are here': Arizona and California 911 centers are inundated with calls(Trunc)

Initially, some people thought it may have been a UFO or the prelude to an alien invasion.

There was also talk of a possible nuclear strike by North Korea.

Footage of the rocket launch was captured by a viewer of KTLA-TV.

'What the heck is this weird jellyfish thing going across the sky right now!?!' tweeted actress Jenna Fischer of The Office fame.

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, quipped on Twitter that the object in the sky was a 'nuclear alien UFO from North Korea.'

Crazy. The media runs stories on the Government "about to disclose aliens", UFO sightings, and then plays games with the populace about how close they are to dying in a North Korean attack....

... And makes fun of them for thinking something they saw in the sky was a UFO, Alien or North Korean attack.

And thanks, Elon Musk. You've shown how divided you are from the rest of everyone else. How great are you ?! Your un-announced launch looks like a UFO and you make fun of everyone else.

I'm pretty sure it was announced. At least from what I gather on another thread. Easy enough to verify.

And if you can't make fun of the ignorant, then what is the purpose of life?

It's who we are.

Oh, it was announced. But I’m reminded of the notices given in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, both before they bulldozed Arthur’s house and the Vogons destroyed Earth.

“It was posted. Right at the community center.”

But the media has these people panicked about aliens and nukes and then makes fun of them for being so skittish.

I never read that book.

I just think it's ridiculous to call 9-1-1 even if it's an actual nuke or alien invasion.

The local po-po isn't trained to combat either.

People call 911 for anything and everything. And not just crazy people. Normal people. Teachers, restaurateurs, hell other police.

No one is actually trained in how to use 911 services.

No need for alarm. Not a real UFO - just a government-subsidized fake space program to go with the fake electric cars and fake solar power.:)

People call 911 for anything and everything.

They sure do, and it's a plague.

I wonder how many people have died due to dipshits calling 9-1-1 for UFO or sasquatch sightings.

Who approved that garbage? B. Hussein? That guy liked to throw our money away like it was confetti at a ticker tape parade. I always bring that up with blacks I debate when they fawn over B.Hussein, to name me one thing he did for the black community other than get his community agitators to start riots in their towns while he threw money away to everyone, foreigners, illegals, billionaires, everyone except black people.

Good book.

They fire a lot of stuff from Point Mugu. LA should be used to it.

These were from Vandenberg but LA still should be used to it. Babies

Saw this rocket, like many in the southwest. About ten minutes later, came across a 4 car accident on a busy freeway, that had happened within the past 10 minutes.

Not certain the accident was related, but suspect it was.

With Vandenberg AFB up the coast from LA and a smaller Navy launch site you’d figure - nope.

That really sums up how the ‘elites’ like Musk think of us. We are a bunch of stupid children that need to be ruled over by these assholes. And those pictures looked pretty freaky for a rocket launch, like none I have ever seen, so it is understandable that people would think they are seeing a Ufo.

Saw it east of Phoenix. It is a rare sight here as the timing must be just right, after local sunset but still back lit by the sun’s rays because of the rocket’s high altitude. Last time I saw one was probably 15 years ago.

Are you sure about that?

Yea, pretty sure. At least on the anti-nuke missile technology. They may have implemented Alien warfare training since I retired, though.

Haha. Awesome. If your computer is capable of zooming in real close, you may be able to see me waving my Quisp banner on the corner of H and Ocean avenues.
