Vietnamese hot sauce on pizza?

Thai.
Hot sauce with strong garlic presence.
Great with soups and most foods.
Pizza? Wouldn't go there...

“But when cooking a soup, stew or in preparatory seasoning I use Crystal.”

Never heard of Crystal, so I looked it up and found this:

“POWER-RANKING THE 10 BEST HOT SAUCES ON EARTH”
https://www.thrillist.com/eat/nation/power-ranking-the-10-best-hot-sauces-on-earth

The author here ranks Crystal as #3 hot sauce, surpassed only by:

2. Cholula
1. Huy Fong Sriracha

Maybe she should have taken a cue from Hitlery and carried it in her purse.

Not partial to Cholula.

But my personal experience with the other two would agree.

Crystal is not heavily advertised.
But once people try it, they like it.

Again, I find Crystal lends itself better to cooking,
while Sriracha works best as a condiment.

YMMV

>>Crushed red pepper flakes for me.

I like that too, and even better if they have olive oil with crushed red peppers in it, that eventually gets completely infused into the oil after they keep replenishing the oil and pepper over time. It’s awesome. Barring that, Tabasco works wonders in any situation.

Should have been thrown out just for asking for it and insulting the chef. I had a friend who was like most of these hot food endorphin junkies, he had no idea what anything tasted like. Ill never forget the time he had to make weight for a physical and someone told him to eat grapefruits. So there he sat with bottles of hot sauce slathering his grapefruit slices so they “didnt taste too bland.”

Like others here, I’ve never tried the sriracha sauce, as I can barely take jalapeno on pizza. Really gripes me that JinTB and other fast food places keep adding sriracha and other hot&spicy sauces to the burgers, as they apparently think everyone is Hispanic.

The article reminds me of the Super Bowl ad a few years ago where the guy is sitting on the porch eating pizza with Tobasco sauce. A mosquito gets on his arm and starts sucking and then explodes.

I like Tiger Sauce for pork, fish, chicken and soups/beans.

Told internet friend in OZ about it a few years ago. She used web and ordered two bottles. They liked it so much they then ordered a case.

I drink Cholula directy from the bottle.

It’s not very hot, IMO.

I refer to it as “VietNamese Ketchup”.

I like it a lot, but not to the point where I would get into a scuffle because I thought there wasn’t enough on whatever I ordered, I’d just politely ask for more.

Why some folks have to make a federal case out of such insignificant things is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps I’m too laid back?

That is good stuff. I am reminded that the same company also makes a product called "Tiger Seasoning." It is not spicy at all; rather sort of a seasoning salt.

My parents used to use it on steaks when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s.

Back then it was called "Praise Allah Seasoning".

Obviously a product with that name would really bomb in today's marketplace.

an employee 'with the tattoos on the face

NEVER buy pizza from a guy with tattoos on his face. Never.
OK, so maybe that's just my special rule...
