Somebody help me out here.
It is a given that every animal requires a certain number of calories to survive. My understanding would be that in cold country, as the temperature decreases, more calories are required to maintain body heat. Conversely, as the temperature increases, less calories are required.
Now the “Warmests” would have us believe: warming temps = less ice = harder for bears to catch food. However, if the temps are increasing, bears will require less food.
My question is: how much less? Enough to cover the deficit of sea ice?

By the way, the polar bear is an apex predator. The most common cause of death in them is STARVATION. It happens when they become too old to hunt, or get injured.
But propaganda is fun.

Good point. And then there is Greenland. Why did the vikings choose that name? Oh, yes. I remember—because it was so warm that it was green from lush vegetation.
