Could be there’s more that may come out about LiAngelo and daddy wants him out of the country. Could be the same with the 16 year old. Something doesn’t pass the smell test.

It seems these boys listen to their father.
As such, he should have told them not to steal.

If ‘daddy’s little boys’ steal from the Lithuanians the rest of us will have a good laugh watching them rot in some foreign prison...

LiAngelo Ball was on no ones draft list. He is not going to be drafted.
At this point, no - he does not have the talent of either his older or younger brothers, both of whom have one-and-done talent. But if he put in a few years with the Bruins, he could develop into a guy who could have a career as a bench player in the NBA. His father has blown up that path in life for him.

English is the international language of basketball. Nearly all his teammates will most likely speak enough English to converse. And almost all the young ladies will speak English so theyll be ok in that department. LOL.
Maybe - hopefully the coach will at least. But there's an interesting article
in ESPN that describes their new club:
"Prienu Vytautas, or BC Prienai as it's often called, is a low-level club from a small, non-English speaking village of roughly 10,000 people in southern Lithuania. The team has been grappling with financial issues and started the season losing eight of its first 12 games in the Lithuanian league.
"The club plays in a 1,700-seat arena; 500 of those seats are reserved for team sponsors and their friends. Tickets cost around 5 euros.
The team has no general manager and doesn't practice regularly due to the poor financial situation."
So yeah - way to go, Dad. That sounds a lot better than playing off the bench for UCLA.

A sizable check is going with the boyz to put this team on schedule.

“Something doesnt pass the smell test.”
I think he came to the realization that his son was only rated at 79, which is not a high level, and figured son could go overseas and shine like the Christmas Star.
Too many people have this imaginary thought that their kid is going to the NBA and riches. There are less than 650 total players in the NBA which is including the practice squads who will never see much of a chance at player status. The teams can suit 12 for a game. That 276 actual players for the NBA that make the money.
So out of all those leagues run by the teams for pennies, and all the different classification of players like, an example, injured reserve when they bring their designated inactive player into focus, and he’s gone when injured gets well, that adds one to that list of even possibles determined by roster. So that’s less than 300 actual considered players to hit the floor for the money each game. Everyone else is collateral damage and is paid peanuts with the thought they may get their chance.
The math there is less than 300 players in the league that actually play. And when you consider that there are players all over the world that are trying for those 300 slots, and you’ve got a forward rated by a legitimate rating group saying he’s the 79th rated forward on the list, Dad may be having that imaginary dream. And blowing his son’s education. Not real bright.

LA stars sent to Lithuania by idiotic father. Maybe now the LA Times can find someone else to glorify. UCLA is better off.
To: Alberta's Child
the father has 5 balls, his and his three sons.
To: Redwood71
at least at UCLA they might have received an education
