They better keep their noses clean over there, Lithuanians aren’t exactly very welcoming of the hood types.

Right!?! No more shoplifting. I am pretty sure POTUS will NOT interfere with their prosecution in a foreign country.

If (when?) they get locked up over there, I trust Trump will not lift a finger to help them out.
Sorry “Dad”...Air Force One is STILL not available to thugs...(well, since Obama left, anyway).

When they get busted over there, they be on their own.

I strongly suggest that when LiAngelo is in a store that he keep his hands in his pockets. Trump may not be inclined to intervene a second time.

I did that years ago. Nascar, too. Now the NFL.
I find that my free time can be used for really fun stuff. Woodworking. Gardening. Putting rounds down range.

If they pull that stunt again Europe is more forgiving than Asia. Dad did the right thing. UCLA doesn’t need the embarrassment-niether does the family.

The normal trajectory for these kids:
LiAngelo would serve out his suspension at UCLA, get a great education from one of the best schools in the nation, play with the Bruins for three or four years and move on to a very profitable journeyman career in the NBA.
LaMelo would finish high school, go on to UCLA (where he had a guaranteed scholarship), play for a year and then go in the first round of the NBA draft, with a big money contract.
Instead, due to their father's arrogance, they will be struggling to find playing time in some village in Eastern Europe on an obscure team filled with grown men who mostly don't speak English. LiAngelo will likely never play in the NBA now, and LaMelo's path to the NBA is not obvious.
At some point, it's time to say "Dad, I love and respect you, and I can't express how grateful I am to you, but I'll run my life now."

I don’t know what the heck you can shop-lift out of Prienai, Lithuania. They don’t even have a Wal-Mart. It’s a town of 9,800.

This father is hurting his sons. It’s all about him. He appears to be a typical destructive narcissist. What’s mom saying?
To: C19fan
Pulling the 16 year old out of school for a long-shot chance at pro ball is doing him no good whatsoever.
To: C19fan
It appears the Balls...have no balls!!!

Right. So looking at your sound summary, what possible motive or reason is there for LaVar Ball to do this? Are there any positives in this or is this Dad’s way of just telling everyone to stuff it... at the expense of his children?

Why are the Lithuanians wasting time with these clowns?
To: AnotherUnixGeek
LiAngelo Ball was on no ones draft list. He is not going to be drafted.
To: C19fan
They’ll have a marketable skill when they return home, fluency in Lithuanian.
