There was something legal about it, possibly federal laws, I don’t really know.
Plus, they counted by whole cases only. ...........

Reminds me of the movie WHISKEY GALORE! 1949.I'll see you your "Whiskey Galore" and raise you with the "Hallelujah Trail" (1964 John Sturges 'Epic' Western). Not an all-time great, but when you have Sturges directing Burt Lancaster & Lee Remick in a comedy about a whiskey supply wagon train to Denver protected by the US Cavalry and threatened by American Aborigines (aka Native Americans, American Indians etc.) and Temperance women, the movie does leave fond memories.

I agree! I thought the movie Whiskey Galore would end like the Burt Lancaster movie with people waiting for more booze to pop up out of the ocean. It didn’t.

There’s something fishy about this vodka accident. We can’t afford to be caviar...uh...cavalier about these things.

Too bad it didnt hit a tanker full of V-8 and they both rolled into a celery field. While having a plane load of McIlhenny Tobasco sauce crash on top.

Titos, excellent Texas vodka, that’s a shame.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital to be checked out...mainly to see if he’d been sampling some of his payload.
