The protestant reformation split the church into splinters and fragments. Protestant lands have lost their faith and are ripe for conversion back to the mother church (orthodox or catholic) or for conquest by islam.

If that is a true statement, the church could not have been very strongly constituted in the first place.

What we are ALL seeing today is the vacuum being filled by the same Satan that hinted we didn't need religion in the first place, and stupid people bought in to that.

As a Baptist, we reared our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord and WE have stayed true to the scriptures and church attendance.

Our children however, once of age decided they didn't need church or bible reading and all the et cetera's.

They're not evil, but they ARE more liberal than what I'd like them to be.

Satan is a strong adversary.

What a conundrum. A religion that denies the Bible vs. a religion that "accepts" the Bible but says it is full of myths and errors? I know from personal experience that the "Genesis vs. J*sus" battle doesn't necessarily end in victory for J*sus.

There is another alternative, though. Maybe confrontation with islam and historical chrstianity will open my fellow Bible-thumpers up to it. One can only hope.
